KIT Scenarist 0.7.2 rc12

Hi all,

We work hard on making KIT Scenarist more stable so please welcome the next release 0.7.2 rc12!

Here's what's inside:
- Added the ability to print out cards in color;
- Fixed an issue with blurred cards for Retina displays;
- Fixed an issue with cards shuffling when a new scene is added after the folder title;
- Fixed an issue with cards randomly disappearing in some cases;
- Fixed an issue with inserting text from the stamp into the tags of additional card colors;
- The ability to lock scene numbers has been moved from the script editor to the general settings of scene numbers in "Research -> Script";
- Fixed an error of script syncing in case of frequent connection failures;
- Improved the script editor’s reaction when co-authors type text at the same time;
- Fixed an issue with undoing the last action, which caused the app to crash;
- Fixed an issue with copying spare information from one scene to another, in case when the content of one block of time and place (for example, location) is being copied into another one;
- Fixed an issue with program being crashed when few paragraphs with folders got to a page break;
- Improved the logic of checking app’s current working folder to avoid working with files from the backup folder;
- Fixed an issue with launching the app after applying the high resolution zoom option in some cases;
- Fixed an issue in the Arabic translation and updated the script’s template;
- Updated the Turkish translation;
- Added spelling dictionary for the Danish language.

The next thing on our agenda is to have the next release of Starc and then update the mobile version, which will include not only the bug fixes but new features too!

Have a nice day you all!

Add pictures and music
It would great to have the ability add color photos to scenes and script dialog i.e. to copy, transfer and paste photos or images to script scenes.
For example if you are writing your script and dialog of a setting , you can add a photos to give a general idea of the setting you are trying to create.
Also it would be fantastic if you can copy and paste the music to the scene as well, playing in the background of the script dialog.
If you tech guys can get this done - you would become the leaders of the pack !
Its a Billion dollar $$$$ idea - think about it !!!

Add pictures and music

Thank you for your suggestion. We have some ideas about that in Story Architect

For now in the KIT possible to add photos, text, mind maps, and links (URL, can be used for music or video) for characters, locations, and itself (at Documents) in the tab Research.

Scene numbers on both sides
Can you add function that allows Scene number to appear on both left and right of screen - which is standard for screenplays - rather than just on the left side? Thank you

Sorry, we won't add this function to KIT. But we have already realized in the next KIT generation - Story Architect.

I love this software but I often have to rewrite things but keep earlier ideas to review later. They're still not entirely fleshed out scripts to warrant a new version, but I strike-through upon re-reading when I have changed something or intend to (but keep it anyway in case).

Please add strike-throughs. In screenplays I'd say they're more important than even Bold Italic etc.

Thank you! We are going to add it later in the next KIT generation - Story Architect.
